ESTON TRAINING has been training professional technical writers and technical authors for over 20 years. The company was founded in 1982 in response to a Manpower Services Commission (MSC) initiative to provide industry with higher standards of product support literature. Technical writing and technical authorship distance learning training was a fundamental part of the proposed programme.

To date, the company has trained more than 2,500 technical writers and technical authors, and many of ESTON’s students have been awarded Technical Authorship Diplomas with Distinctions.

Distance Learning Courses

The distance learning courses developed by ESTON TRAINING include a choice of three courses for Technical Authors and a unique Software Authorship course, a Technical Writing and Communicating course, a Technical Report Writing course, a Business English course, a Business Writing course, a Standard Generalised Mark-up Language (SGML) foundation course and a Simplified English course. One-on-One Courses

In addition, ESTON TRAINING offers a series of One-on-One courses in its training portfolio. These courses are designed for those individuals who prefer to train under the guidance of their own personal ESTON TRAINING tutor. Our One-on-One courses include Editing Technical and Commercial Documents, Creating Professional Websites and Computer Familiarisation.
